What We Support

We try to stick with what we understand and what we have seen work.

MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment)

We believe in MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment), which uses a medication called Buprenorphine to end withdrawal symptoms and prevent craving related to OUD (Opioid Use Disorder), as well as to block the patient’s ability to use opioids. Buprenorphine is an amazingly safe and effective medication. Suboxone (Buprenorphine) MAT programs are monthly visit programs that are few and far between and are not always supported by insurance.

(CBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and helps patients develop positive decision making skills. It is a “move intelligently forward” mindset, rather than a backward looking format.

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.”
